How to choose a product launch agency for an AI startup
Questions to ask a product launch or creator marketing agency before you sign: proof, creator selection, disclosure, timing and reporting.
What should you check before hiring a launch partner?
Ask for original campaign links, the partner’s exact role, the reason each creator fits your buyers, product-testing and disclosure arrangements, and a written reporting plan. Views and likes are exposure; customers and revenue require separate evidence. AISC is a company built on a community, not a traditional agency.
Ask for original links, not screenshots
Any agency can show a slide with big numbers. Ask for links to the original posts so you can check the date, the account, the views and the replies yourself. Ask which launches the agency fully managed and which it only took part in.
AISC lists its campaigns with original X links on the case studies page and marks network participation separately from managed launches, so a prospective client can see exactly what was done.
Check how creators are selected and briefed
A good launch agency explains why each creator fits your product and audience. Ask how they vet creators, how they avoid fake engagement and whether creators can try the product before posting.
Ask to see an example brief. It should describe the product honestly, include limits and give creators room for their own voice, rather than a script everyone copies.
Agree on timing and reporting before the launch
Settle the launch window, languages, approval process and what happens if the date moves. A product launch agency should coordinate with your founder and product team, not only post on your behalf.
Agree in advance how results will be reported: exposure metrics on one side, product actions on the other. Be cautious with any agency that promises virality. Nobody controls the algorithm; a good agency controls preparation, creator fit and follow-up.
