On October 14, 2026, Vinay Jain announced that Notch’s founding team is joining OpenAI. He and Aman Jain started Notch two years earlier, believing AI agents could help businesses grow autonomously. The team built agentic experiences for advertising and worked with thousands of small businesses running their ad budgets through Notch agents.
Vinay and Aman are taking that experience to the OpenAI Ads team. Congratulations to them and to everyone at Notch.
